Garden Travel Destinations
Where We Travel
Our 2027 garden tours and priority-list departures now cover England, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Ireland and Scotland. Confirmed bookable tours include England, France and the Netherlands; future priority-list departures are open for Italy, the Netherlands, Ireland and Scotland. These guides explain what each destination offers, which gardens matter most, and which tour programme or priority list covers it.
England
English Garden Regions
England has an unusually dense concentration of important gardens in the southeast. The guides below cover each region in depth — what defines it, which gardens matter most, and when to visit for the best results. English garden tours overview →
England
Kent
One of the strongest garden counties in England. Sissinghurst and Great Dixter are the most visited, but Doddington Place, Hole Park and a number of rarely opened private estates make Kent exceptional for serious garden travellers.
England
Sussex
Great Dixter and Sissinghurst anchor a very strong Sussex programme. Leonardslee, Wakehurst, Nymans and Sheffield Park add depth — particularly in late spring when the woodland gardens are at their peak.
England
Surrey & Near London
RHS Wisley and Loseley Park anchor a strong Surrey programme alongside the most accessible gardens in the southeast. Our broadest 2027 itinerary covers Kent, Surrey and Sussex together in a single eight-day programme.
England
The Cotswolds
Hidcote Manor, Kiftsgate Court, Rodmarton Manor, Cerney House Gardens and Pettifers — the northern Cotswolds hold one of the most rewarding concentrations of gardens in England, drawn together by a shared Arts and Crafts tradition.
2027 Focus
RHS Chelsea Flower Show
All four of our 2027 tours include a full day at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, held each May at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London. Each itinerary combines Chelsea with a different regional programme — Kent and Sussex, Surrey, or the Cotswolds. The comparison page covers the differences in garden programme, hotel and departure date.
